Tgarms

My name is Tyler, and I am TGarms Studio. All of this started as a passion project for art, and has evolved far beyond anything I thought it would. I set out on my art journey in 2023 with the small idea of making a comic, and I have now reached a point where my first entire volume for Shadow Sight has released. Time goes fast, and I’m so appreciative of everything I have gotten to experience thus far in life.

I grew up in Ohio, moving across the United States to Colorado in my early 20’s and finally landing in New York during my mid-late 20’s. I have travelled around the United States a lot and took my very first trip outside of North America (I have been to Canada before, I love Toronto) to Japan in 2024. I decided to do my trip solo and really immerse myself into the culture of Japan, which I have found extremely interesting. I believe in taking risks, taking opportunities others might be scared of doing, because you are the only one who can live your own life. Why not make it exciting?

As it stands now, I am planning to continue my art, working on Shadow Sight, and hopefully begin voice acting as well.

I hope you find enjoyment out of my work, or at least a piece that relates to you in some way. All I have ever wanted to do was connect with people, and that’s what this journey is all about.

Smudge

Smudge was (probably) born somewhere in New York in 2021. She was found outside in a blizzard, and taken to an animal rescue, where her true father (TGarms) would find her and care for her like the true baby princess she is. We do not know what happened to her tail, but she doesn’t need it anyway.

Her main hobbies include, but are not limited to:

Sleep, shoelace destruction, more sleep, yapping until dad gives her food, sleep again, loafing, making biscuits in the biscuit factory, quality assurance over dad’s art, slamming her face into any solid object, yapping some more, and finally a power nap after having yapped for another 20 minutes at 6am.

She is a hard worker, often making biscuits far after quitting time. She spends long hours peer-reviewing the work of TGarms from the comfort of her strategically placed bed (It’s on the desk next to her dad’s workstation).

None of this work would be possible without her, because well, she’s the most important lady ever, of course. We love you, Smudge.
